Shoulder Press
3 x 5 @ 70#
Failed on rep 5 on set 3. Grr.
Push Jerk
3 x 5 @ 85#
Failed on rep 5 on set 3. This was because on the previous rep, I landed like...I was surprised the ground was that high...that's how Phil described it, and that's exactly how it felt. So then I got the giggles, and I tried to fight them but I couldn't. So I racked the weight and laughed my head off.
Then:
5 RFT of
5 SDHP, 65#
3 Clapping Push-ups, 7 Reg Push-ups
20 Sit-Ups

This was about :30 slower than my last time, but that time I didn't do any clapping. In fact, this is the first time I've DONE clapping push-ups sooooo that was exciting.
Then Becky and I rode our first bike ride of the season!
3 on, 3 stopped
2 on, 2 stopped
1 on, 1 stopped
2 on, 2 stopped
3 on, done.
Did a lot of hang snatches in an effort to work on not straightening out my legs so much during the snatch-deadlift portion. Here goes:

Pretty pumped about this one - smoked my last time of 6:26. I only had to break up the last set of slapping push-ups, and since I missed one of them, I had to do one more. I was aiming for less than 5 minutes, so this unfortunately put me over. Still pumped.
OMG we talk too much.
Probably true.
That said, I only used about 4 sentences, so there.
Mostly, though, I find it useful to put the comments in there (e.g., "worked on hang snatches instead of full," etc.) - helpful for when I go back to look at it later.
