7RFT: 185# Front Squat
7 L-Pull-ups
As Rx'd Time: 6:37

This went faster than I thought it would. The front squats were all unbroken. The L-pulls were okay - out of practice on those. It's times like these I wish the Globo gym had a straight bar for pull-ups.
Looking forward to the Chipper this afternoon (Sat)

Front Squat was 185# x 3, forgot that

FT: "Chippin' Wood" (Sat afternoon)
As Rx'd* Time: 16:21
Now, when I beat Phil by almost 2 min on a WOD like this I recover and realize I must have cheated. And so I did. I remeasured the farmer's walk and OH lunge distance* - it was ~35 yds, I clearly mismeasured. Good WOD, though.

Dude.....

Seth,

You either weigh 145 pounds or are blessed with freakish strength or both.

Keep posting times and such.
However, I think I liked it better when Phil was the only one who made me feel old, weak, and slow.

Your lunges and carry might have been shorter, but I'm pretty darn sure those extra 15 yards on both wouldn't have slowed you up an extra 2 minutes. Nice work Seth.

Some back posting from this past Friday:

1 mile run
(trying out some older running shoes before Sunday's half-marathon)
5:58

It needs to drop some more yet, but it's good to have it back below 6 minutes again, and this time, it's at 215#.

Then we messed around with the climbing rope at the park and also did some HSPU/handstand stuff.

Almost forgot, in the morning . . .

For time:
Unload 2,304 pounds of 4 x 6 rubber mats from the trailer to a pallet in the dirt room, 96 pounds at a time.

27:39

Awkward for carrying. The first 3 mats took me 9 minutes as I figured out an effective way to carry them, and then had to relocate the stack due to logistical problems. After that, I averaged better than 1/minute. My back was definitely tired/sore by the end. (I didn't really intend to time it, but then right before I picked up the first one . . . "why not?")

Ran 1 mile at Big Papio way back on this date to see if my mile time was back below 6 min.

5:58

Barely, but it's a good step to reach for me.
