The Twins:
750m Row
20 HSPU
750m Row
20 HSPU
20 110lb Thrusters
20 L-Pullups

20 L-Pullups

HSPUS and Pullups were ... humorous.

"The Twins" looked interesting - I might give it a go next week sometime. Everybody pooped out on me this morning, so today ended up being a rest day, and tomorrow (Friday) we'll be doing today's WOD (front squats and "The Volkswagen").

To be fair, I didn't mind the pooping out too much. I was ready for a rest day.

I empathize on the L-pullups. Mine are like a lower-case "h" . . . without the bottom left part.

Weights: 75, 85, 95, 105, 110, 115(fail)
105 was previous PR so this was great.

Then

70# bench press
kipping pull ups

I did all kipping pull ups so it was good. Only Becky was faster using same weights and kipping...so it was bad. Time was 17:28.

Also.....

"The Twins" sucked.
The transition between HSPUs and thrusters was brutal.

Did this on Friday (05/29/09) as Thursday ended up being a rest day.

2 hours prior to WOD - did some CFE work.
10 x 100m sprint, 1:30 rest between each sprint

Front Squat, 3-3-3-1-1-1
235-3
245-3
255-2
260-1
265-1
270-miss

I think 265 was a PR (maybe 260 too), but I'm not sure.

Volkswagen
12:13

BW = 200# (although so darn close to 195#)
Pull-ups were butterfly kipping, except for #21 on the first round. Still continuous, just not butterfly on that one.
