And I forgot to mention the sock debacle. My right sock kept sliding down into my shoe whilst I was rowing. This annoyed me greatly. After round 1, I just pulled the sock back up (had to remove the shoe to do that). After round 2, I just removed the sock for good (had to remove the shoe to do that). ARGH!
Another interesting observation occurred after this workout. My right shoulder was in serious stress for the following hours. The front of the shoulder, where it's been hurting me lately. This was interesting because I didn't "use" the front, I used the back (rowing). So my best guess is that the extreme "overuse" of those weak back of the shoulder muscles stressed out the front, which is what causes bursitis pain in the first place. Weird, huh?
