Only did back squat today - got to school a little later than planned. It was fine since I really needed to just spend some extra time working on flexibility for LBBS. I kept working the bar down a little farther with each set.
Back Squat 3 x 5 45-5 135-5 225-5 285-2 ----- 320-5 320-5 320-4
That last set was annoying - the sets were getting better as I went along, and I definitely had that 5th rep . . . until I went too far forward and lost it. Just stupid. I had to get to bball practice, so I couldn't give it another go.
Overall, the elbows are ok so far (about 4+ hours after the fact). We'll see what tomorrow brings and how the elbows do with benching and any type of snatching or cleaning in the near future.
Hoping to bench tomorrow - not sure if "Nancy" will happen. Maybe something else in its place.
Run workout over lunch: 3 sets of: Run 200m, rest same time as run time Run 400m, rest same time Run 600m, rest same time
I ended up doing this on a treadmill, at 1% incline. Not ideal, but my other options were snowy/icy tracks or a DUMB 11 lap for one mile track indoors. Sigh...so...whatever.
Then after work I did Back Squat 5 x 7
My calf was really tight/sore from the running, so I went lighter and more reps.
Ended up doing 45 x 7 65 x 5 80 x 3 for warm up and then 95 x 7 x 5 sets for work. Felt good.
