I did all kipping pull-ups through 71. My hand had ripped at that point bad enough that I couldn't do more. My previous PR on kipping pull-ups in a wod was 48 so...wow big improvement. =) However, I did girl push-ups because we had a group of women coming in for the CF class we are doing. So I had to keep it moving faster.
Round 1: 6:11
Round 2: 6:07 (more kipping in a row)
Round 3: 7:02
Round 4: 7:55 (1/2 kipping, 1/2 jumping)
Round 5: 6:43 (one kipping, 19 jumping)
Total time was 45:59 minus 12 minutes of rest.
Well, this one was kind of a catastrophe - kind of funny and not completely unexpected - but a catastrophe nonetheless.
Rd Time
1 3:08
2 3:44
3 5:04
4 5:54
5 5:38
Round 1 was a Barbara PR by about 18 seconds, and after that, it went downhill quickly. Round 2 was a little slower than last time, and rounds 3-5 were significantly slower than last time as my slowest round last time was 4:04.
Some notes:
1.The 5 days immediately preceding this consisted of 4 days on and a very challenging 8 mile run on day 5.
2. The sit-ups and squats were bad. Legs felt shot from the beginning - definitely the slowest squats I've ever done, continuous, but slow.
3. Pull-ups were my saving grace.
Will do better next time.
Also, nice job Kiley on those pull-ups!
