This is the Great Basin Regional Qualifier WOD #1 (for the upcoming CrossFit Games).

For time:
5 Snatches
Sandbag carry
4 Snatches
Sandbag carry
3 Snatches
Sandbag carry
2 Snatches
Sandbag carry
1 Snatch

Snatch load: 135#/95#
Sandbag carry: 100#/50# for 100 yards

The snatches may be of either variety - power or full (i.e., squat) - but they must be from the ground (no hang snatches). The actual Great Basin WOD used 90#/70# for the sandbag carry loads - however, we just made the sandbags today, and 50# and 100# bags were easier to make than 70# and 90#, so I think our weights worked well for us.

OMG!!! I just read this one and it sank in how FAR 100 yards is!!!! GAH!!! That's FAR! And clearly I will not be snatching 95# but I don't know what my max is...sigh...

I used 45# for the snatch and a 50# sandbag. 7:20.
