My apologies on the horizontal distortion in the video. The camera was held sideways for recording, and rotating it caused the distortion. If I had spent more time on it, I probably could have found a solution to it, but . . . I didn't.

So...My bad. I did get to the gym to run 2 then just shot baskets for about 30 min. Which ended up being a decent workout b/c I haven't shot in so long. =)

Split Jerk, 5-5-5-3-3-3:
135-5
155-5
175-5
185-3 (PR? definitely a 3 rep PR)
195-3 (1 rep and 3 rep PR)
200-2 (PR)

DB get-ups at 25% BW (50#=25% of 200#): 14 in 7 minutes.

I am, simply put, not good at get-ups. I am not even in the same neighborhood as good. I have to dial long distance just to talk to good. This notwithstanding, it made for excellent practice, and I will inevitably get better. Also, I just managed to make getting better sound like a disease.

On another note, I am pleased that I've gotten to the point where I can jerk my own bodyweight (and at this point, it's a sizable BW). On the other hand, athletes who are proficient at jerking can put up considerably more than their own BW, so that's a bit humbling. I am . . . conflicted.
