I love days where I just do some stretching (well, did some handstand practice as well, but that was fun, too). I still make incredibly slow progress (and it's never comfortable), but it's progress.

I do a variation of the typical touch-your-toes stretch on a pretty regular basis - this version has me put my foot up on a fairly high box/bar and stretch one hamstring at a time. I've made some progress on this, so since I was stretching right before girls' JV/reserve bball practice, I had a student come over and do the same stretch for comparison purposes (as I know this student has good squat and deadlift positioning). It was . . . hilarious - I have so far to go.
