Learned something important - one full day off after a meet is not enough (in print, this seems rather obvious). The meet was on Saturday, and I went back to lifting on Monday . . . that was not a great move. I got the squats, but not the press, and the squatting was - I do believe - the worst squatting experience of my life. On the 3rd set, I pondered quitting after both the 1st and 2nd rep. I also sounded like I was giving birth to a rhinoceros. Normally my grunting sounds like I'm in charge - this time, it sounded like the weight was in charge. Anyway . . . then numbers:
