This was interesting - I had debated between this metcon (which Testify did on Wednesday) and the metcon that Testify did on Saturday: 7 min EMOM of 10 Snatches (full snatch - 75#) and 10 Burpees. I thought I had chosen the longer one.
For OHS, next week I reset with a new, lower training max. On this cycle, I didn't get Week 1's last set of 5 (225 x 4), and I didn't get Week 2's last set of 3 (240 x 2). I made it through about 5 cycles before resetting, so I'm decently pleased with my progress.
I did, however, get Week 3's single at 252.5. This was very exciting - Ming, it turns out, is very good at cheering people on. That was an OHS PR, and it was also the most weight I've ever put overhead. I push jerked it, but I might start working on a split jerk (albeit with a OHS grip).
