Clean and Jerk - heavy single 185-1 205-f (sheesh) 205-1 225-1 240-f x 3 (all on the clean)
The last one at 240 was extremely close. Both of the last two were cleaned high enough - I just didn't rack them properly. At any rate, my back was tired for some reason, and the cleans felt off today, and my shoulders were also giving me some grief on the jerks.
Snatch 75% of 190 = approx 145 ----- 165 x 1 x 5 EMOM
With this 75% x 1 x 5 deal that I've been doing, the plan has been to go start off at 75% and then go a bit heavier week by week until I feel it's time to reset back down to 75% - also always with the option to just use 75% if I'm tired or pressed for time.
So, on one hand, hitting 165 was good for 5 singles EMOM. On the other hand, they weren't very good for technique work - especially being tired. It's either time to reset back to 75% or schedule in some lighter technique work sometime during the week. The latter seems unlikely.
I started at 120th and Blondo and ran up 120th to Miracle Hills. The first time I ran out for 7 minutes, then didn't make it back in 5.
Then I rested more than 2:00. I rested 4:00.
Then I ran up the hill for 6 minutes and got back to the start too fast, so I had to run sideways...right Meggers? Haha, no, really I just ran past my starting point a bit. I'm not sure the total distance I covered each time. It was way too hot.
