Snatch
Max

Last few sets:
125-1
135-1
145-1
150-1
155-miss
155-miss

Weighted Pull-ups
Max
45-1
70-1
90-1
100-1
110-miss

Then I went to Urban Active - rainy, windy, and cold outside, so I used Urban's indoor track.

6:07

That's about 9 seconds off my most recent mile time, but I'm pretty sure it's due to the small track and the traffic. Of course, I can't be sure at the moment, but I do think that I could have beaten my last mile time on either a track or an out-and-back route.

On the other hand, getting sub-6 on this track would be kind of cool. And an annoying process.

21-15-9: 95# OHS, Chest-to-Bar pull-ups
Time: 6:11

OHS was a sub for squat snatch. I only recently started doing snatches, but even so, my space and weights are not really suited for much overhead work. As stated previously, can't dump weights, limited space, etc.

Then: Run 2 miles
Time: 12:29
Was shooting for sub-12, but my legs were more tired than I thought.

Yesterday did Phil's 5RFT 5 - 95# SDHP, 10 Slap push-ups, 20 Sit-ups.
Time: 5:32

I was on pace to beat Phil. First three rounds each sub-1 min. But the slap push-ups were broken up in sets 4 and 5. And the abs were sore from setting a pr on front squat earlier - worked up to 240# 1 rep.

Nice work on the 100# weighted pull-up Phil. Can I assume you do weighted pull-ups with a supinated grip?

One mile TT. 7:24. On a treadmill, at 1% incline. Previous PR was 8:00 ish. So...big woot!

Nice job on the 2 miles, Seth. And as for the pull-ups, yep, unless specifically post something about a specific grip, I just automatically take the grip that allows the most reps/best speed/whatever is called for. Thus, for metcons, I go with a pronated grip for kipping like everyone else, and for weighted pull-ups, I go with a supinated grip.

Maybe the one exception is when I post "strict pull-ups" for max reps, I suppose. I bet strict pull-ups with a supinated grip would get me more reps, but I like sticking with the pronated grip on that.

Kiley - way to go on that mile, yo.
