Time: 5:30 a.m.

5 rounds for time of:
15 Push Jerk, 95#/65#
15 L-Pull-ups

I ended up doing weighted pull-ups last time instead since my torn hand wouldn't have tolerated that many pull-ups.

Fran today: 5:43.
Last time: 5:49.
Time before last time: 5:50.
I'm speeding up.

Also did shoulder press 7x1 (I wanted to bench, but both were occupied.):
6x 60kg
#7 fail.

Nice work on the dropping Fran times.

I have a website for you to check out: www.70sbig.com.

Chris Bartels and I are going this route (or something like it) when Thanksgiving starts.

Any interest?

Sorry - forgot this part. We're tentatively planning on doing it for about 2 months.

Chris - I realize we haven't talked a whole lot about it recently, so hopefully I'm not speaking inaccurately here. If I am, feel free to correct me.

Almost time to start buying whole milk.

jacob can't. he just bought a new pair of skinny jeans he wants to fit into for christmas.

I'm totally in.

1) The experimental nature of it appeals to the engi-nerd in me.

2) I like milk.

3) I like to eat. A lot.

I've put no real thought into what the programming should look like other than more heavy lifting and probably only 1-2 metcon days per week.

Phil - you?

Um... not sure what I did to deserve that. What I do with my eurojeans is my business. But since we're all throwing rocks, this is from the 70sbig website:

"It’s currently in vogue to have a spindly, thin appearance which is typically accompanied by a low body fat percentage."
This is Seth's goal in working out. This is the rest of the paragraph:

"Regardless of why this has come to be, those who have such an appearance are not very useful. Imagine asking someone of this “stature” to help you move your car out of the road, haul some lumber, or even fend off a potential zombie attack. It simply wouldn’t be feasible."

65# Push jerk (some press, some jerk)
Subbed 1 jumping pull-up and 1 KTE for each L pull-up.

It's so good to be back!

In case of zombie attack you could always feed the spindly young man to the zombies and then escape yourself....this would be very helpful....He wouldn't be able to help with any of the other things though.

Nice Kathy...you're always thinkin! =) Now show up in the mornings again!

L-pull-ups . . . ahem.

brevity is the soul of wit.
you, my friend, have no soul.

good luck with the zombies yourself, for just like the bear - i only need to outrun you.

brevity?

Run away, spindly-man.

My comment on "Griff" probably ties in well to this thread.

An update - it's day 2. Sort of. Perhaps Friday's belated Thanksgiving meal counts as day 1, which would make today (Sunday) day 3. Either way, I drank my first gallon yesterday. I am past half-way on my second gallon today. And I'm still eating leftovers.

Chris, Jacob, and I won't be great over long distances, so perhaps we could just corner Seth.

The skinny jeans comment cracked me up.
