What kinda snatch?

Well, I'm guessing you're joking here, but just in case, it's from the ground and received in a full squat.

So then, are we always to assume if you just put "snatch" that it's ground to full squat? Same if you just put "clean"? I have no idea how I missed this.

Yep, you've got it. Everything is from the ground unless it says "hang." Likewise, everything is received in a full squat unless it says "power."

No bigGIE on missing that - normally, when I post the O-lifts, I'll usually add something like: "Note - this goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway - since it just says snatch, it's a full snatch, i.e., from the ground and received in a full squat." I didn't add that part in there this time, so I actually thought you were just giving me grief.

I don't know if I'll be doing snatch, perhaps back squat again. I'll be going by feel on my wrist, which after the snatch demo-ing this morning is telling me I might need to wait a few more days. That or at least tape it like crazy and just do technique work.

I was excited about this workout until I saw the posted time.

How dare you protect your own selfish interests when you've got mine to worry about.

Now, in the spirit of the chain of emails above.....

Should I turn my watch around for the first part?

Very funny about the watch. I'll tell you after I'm done berating Kiley for her question.

Went lighter on snatch due to wrist. Taped it like crazy - felt ok, but still a bit twingy (if that's a word). Now's it's somewhat sore - not surprisingly.

Becky and I did this in some pretty serious rain (sprinkling at the beginning, coming down hard by rep 40 or 50). Made the grip factor fun.
