Saturday 04/04/09

Location: CHS
Time: 7:00 p.m.

Team WOD: Becky & Phil vs. Kiley & Chris
For time:
100 Towel Pull-ups
100 DB Thrusters, 30#/20#
100 Deadlifts, 225#/155#

The two team members may complete the prescribed reps in any order or fashion necessary. For example, team members complete a total of 100 pull-ups, not 100 pull-ups each. Also, team members do not need to complete all the prescribed reps before moving to a different movement, e.g., a team member may choose to do 10 pull-ups, 17 thrusters, 9 deadlifts, etc. (although this would be an odd choice of reps, but one gets the picture). The work does not need to be split up evenly between team members either - the goal is to complete the prescribed work as quickly as possible in whatever manner desired.

The original post for today is below. We will use ropes . . . some other time.

(Super-Secret-Workout-Surprise)

The one piece of information you may have is that this will (hopefully) be a team workout, i.e., one team vs. another team. Because of this, I would greatly appreciate knowing how many people we will have there, and we also need to let Premier Gymnastics know as well. If you would be so kind, please post to the comments and let me know whether or not you're coming.

It should be fun - they have climbing ropes!

Finally, a big thanks to Kiley and Zac for this opportunity!

Since I can't edit my comment I'll add this now.

Dead lift: Guys 225#, Girls 100#
Thrusters: Guys 30#, Girls 15#
Pull ups: Guys regular, Girls jumping.

Also, my favorite part of this WOD was the Thrusters b/c I think I've made some pretty major strides in that area. Woot for striding.
