Sunday 03/22/09

Location: CHS
Time: 1:15 p.m.

5 rounds for time of:
9 Hang Squat Clean, 155#/105#
27 Towel Pull-ups

Notes:
1. The clean must be a squat clean, but does not necessarily need to be a hang squat clean. It merely can be a hang squat - this would allow you to go faster if you can knock out multiple reps instead of setting it down every time.
2. Bring a towel - it should be an older towel that you can throw over the pull-up bar and use for pull-ups. A bath towel is about the right size. If you have an extra towel, please bring it in case someone forgets to bring one.

This WOD is based on the following CF main site WOD:
Five rounds for time of:
155 pound Hang squat clean, 9 reps
15 ft Rope climb, legless, 3 ascents

Man......I was looking forward to the Linda workout.

Did this one on Thursday. My shoulders and quads still hurt.

Almost forgot that we had talked about doing that one (Linda) this weekend. I'm definitely open to that. I only rescheduled the cleans/towel pull-ups WOD since everyone bowed out on Thursday. I ended up doing something else since I though it was a good group one.

Anybody else have any thoughts on this? I'm up for "Linda" and it sounds like Chris is too. Thoughts?

It will require that we go in pairs since we have 6 bars and each person will need 3. Ideally we'd have either 4 or 6 people.

If you get a chance, please post and let me know whether you'll be there tomorrow (Sunday).

I'm 99% sure I'm out YET AGAIN tomorrow. So I don't care which workout you guys do as I won't play anyway. =(

Forever. The cleans went decently, but those towel pull-ups took a while. Couldn't get much of a kip. After the first round, I was pretty much reduced to 2 at a time.
